Payment method: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discovery and American Express credit cards, personal checks, money orders or cash works too. Payment made in US dollars. Call 808-651-5652, if questions or to make your reservation.
Booking deposit & payment: 50% of the total rental amount is due within 7 days of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival except for reservations during the Christmas Holiday season which include the dates 12/18 – 1/06. Full payment is due 90 days prior to arrival during this period. If payment is not received by the due dates, your reservation is subject to cancellation.
Cancellations and refunds: You have the right to cancel with 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. 90 days notice is required for Christmas/New year reservations which include the dates between 12/18 to 01/06). Postmarked or email verification is required; verbal cancellations must be followed up with written cancellation notice. Deposits will be refunded less a $150 cancellation fee. If your reservation includes the dates 12/19-01/06, there is a $250 cancellation fee. If, less than 60 and/or 90 days written notice is given, deposits will be forfeited unless we can re-book for the rental period. In the event of re-booking, deposits will be refunded less a $150 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for early departure unless we are able to rebook the room.
Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance: We advise all guests to secure travel insurance to protect you against various cancellations that may occur. Travel insurance typically covers your losses if family medical crises or certain other emergencies force you to abandon or abbreviate a trip. A number of different companies offer travel insurance over the internet. Google “vacation travel insurance” for Insurance options.
Cleaning Fees : Our Suites have the following out cleaning fees: Hale Pua (combination of Breakers, Hibiscus & Seaside Suites)-$425, Breakers-$155, Hibiscus-$135, Seaside-$130. The homes or suites will be expertly cleaned prior to your arrival, and again after your departure. You may arrange with us for personal cleaning during your stay for an additional fee.
Damage and lost item charges: Guests are financially responsible for lost items and damage to the property or furnishings including cleaning due to smoking inside the suites. ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING. The guest credit card will be charged for cleaning or damage. If a credit card is not used, a cash deposit may be required prior to arrival. Before checking out, please check your car for beach towels, beach chairs and coolers. There is a $30 fee for lost keys, beach towels, chairs and coolers.
Group Activities: If you intend to hold parties, receptions, luaus or other group activities, please advise Beachside Poipu staff in advance. No commercial use is permitted. Occupancy beyond the permitted maximum number of people is not allowed unless specifically arranged with Beachside Poipu management.
No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted within the Beachside Poipu suites. Smoking is permitted on the lanais and grounds. Please note Hawaii state ordinance is NO SMOKING within 20 feet of public buildings.
Minimum Stay: Minimum stay is 2 nights. There is a 7 minimum for bookings which include the dates 12/18 – 01/06.
Check-in and out Times: Check-in time is 4:00 PM; Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged if scheduling permits thru Beachside Poipu staff. Additional fees may apply.
Security: On agreeing to rent Beachside Poipu properties the guest assumes responsibility for the property, its contents, and the guests’ personal property during the stay. Always lock doors and windows when you leave. Security stops are provided for the sliding windows and doors which limit the opening size to accommodate ventilation. Lock automobiles and store valuables in a safe place.
Telephone: All suites are equipped with telephones for local calls only. Long distance calls are blocked on the telephones and a credit card is required to make long distance calls. Local calls are free.
Maintenance and Repairs: We make every effort to ensure that all amenities, furnishings and appliances at Beachside Poipu are available, clean, and working properly for our Guests. In the event of a problem, please report the situation to Beachside Poipu staff and we will solve the problem to our best ability as soon as possible. We do not guarantee the operation of air conditioners, televisions, appliances, etc. and no refunds or adjustments will be made unless agreed to by Beachside Poipu management.
Rates are subject to change without notice. Beachside Poipu reserves the right to change rates at any time. If changes are made, bookings made prior to the change date will not be affected.
Tax: All rates are subject to Hawaii State GET (General Excise Tax) of 4.71% and TAT (Transient Accommodation Tax) of 10.25%. Total tax @ 14.96% (2019)
